Ilakkizhi - Herbal Leaf Therapy for Pain Relief & Rejuvenation

Ilakkizhi, also known as Elakizhi, is a highly effective Ayurvedic sweat-inducing therapy that uses warm herbal poultices (kizhis) filled with specially selected medicinal leaves. These kizhis are heated in medicated oils and gently massaged over the body to relieve muscle stiffness, joint pain, inflammation and toxins stored in the tissues.

Elakizhi therapy opens the pores, softens tissues, enhances circulation and promotes the elimination of toxins through sweat. It is especially effective in treating Vata and Kapha disorders related to bones, muscles and joints.
